Early 1900's Oak Side Table with Marble Top

$3,500

A French Neoclassical-inspired square side table from the early 1900s projects a more contemporary sensibilty due to an uncommon juxtaposition between the rustic black marble plank tabletop versus the elegantly squared off, classically fluted legs.

The entire look comes together with the distressed finish effect showcasing the original natural oak wood as well as the curious placement of the legs in the interior of the table, versus the traditional corners. Additionally, the legs are bound by a hand-wrought iron 'x' to ensure stability. The Rustic Neoclassical result catches the modern eye as it brings together our desire for natural handmade things and our appreciation for refined artisanal craftsmanship.
