This Marble Pedestal Table looks like it came out of a Golden Age of Hollywood film set, Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday perhaps? The gorgeously worn black iron base is set off by the inset Giallo marble tabletop, itself an expressive example of the sought after Giallo.

Marble begins life as limestone, and like diamonds, gets fused in the Earth’s crust, causing flat layers to bend, buckle and swirl together. Result: flowing bands of colors and rich veining. An absolutely spectacular one-of-a-kind vintage luxury ready for a notable conservatory, pergola or garden setting.
