This perfectly sloped Japanese Bronze Ikebana Vase displays the eternal appeal of serene lines.

Time has been more than a little kind, and the nicely weighted vase has magically acquired a rich patina and now holds a panoply of copper, browns, golds and blacks. Interestingly, the deep patination directly echoes classic Meiji era (likely the same era as the Vase itself) lacquerware with its glossy blacks highighted by gold decoration.
